Pumpkin Carving | Oct. 18 & 22 | During Youth Group | Normal Times
During their regular youth group times, the students will be carving pumpkins and hearing God’s word. We are looking for donations of pumpkins or carving materials. I would like students to RSVP so I know how many pumpkins I should get.

Rake’n Run (& Corn Maze) | Oct. 28 | HS & MS | 1pm to 9pm
Rake’n Run is a tradition at our church! We show up at people’s houses, rake their yards, and leave to the next house. This year we will also have supper and then go to the Corn Maze at Yogi Bear. We will start at 1 but the end time depends on how fast rakers are and how long we stay at the corn maze. If you want to nominate a house to rake, write it on the list on the youth table! We will also need parent volunteers to drive and help out, also to make supper for everyone.

Socktober | October 1 -31| HS vs. MS Collection Competition
“Every night in the United States, an estimated 600,000 people live on the streets. This October, we want 2 million people to prove that even a small act of love, such as donating a pair of socks, can make big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless.” We will be having a competition between high school and middle school to see who can collect the most pairs of socks to donate to the Center of Hope in Sioux Falls. The winning group will get to have a movie/pizza party. Everyone in the church encourage bring socks to put in the box they’d like to win!
